How to book an artist for your wedding (step-by-step)

1) Send an enquiry with your date and rough venue location

Start by telling us your wedding date, venue (if you know it) and the name of the artist or kind of wedding entertainment you’re after. You may prefer for the artist to perform with a live band, have an idea for a celebrity DJ or be looking for a 90s or 00s pop act performance.

2) We check availability

Our team confirms which artist or artists are available for your date. This could mean checking specific artists that you'd like to book - or sometimes we curate options to fit your style and budget. You’ll receive guide prices, example setlists, tech requirements, and anything else which you may want to consider before making a decision.

3) Place a provisional hold (no obligation).

If you love an act, we can place a short provisional hold on your date while you finalise decisions with your partner or venue. This protects your date while keeping things flexible, especially during peak season when artist availability can fill up quickly.

4) Confirm the booking and sign the agreement.

We’ll issue a straightforward booking agreement covering performance times, fees, cancellation terms, and logistics. To secure the artist, you’ll pay a deposit (with the balance due 1 month before the date of the event). Clear terms mean a stress-free wedding entertainment booking process from start to finish.

5) Plan the details: timings, tech etc.

Next comes the fun part - We’ll coordinate with you (and your venue) on set times, access, and any other finer details to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

6) Final confirmation and on-the-day coordination.

In the week before the wedding, we’ll reconfirm everything: arrival/load-in times, performance schedule, contact numbers, and any last-minute tweaks. On the day, the artist arrives in good time to set up, delivering a seamless experience that fits in with your big day.

7) Aftercare and optional add-ons.

Post-event we can provide encore add-ons for your after-party or help you re-book for a second celebration. Many couples recommend us to friends - so if you loved your entertainment, we’d be thrilled to help them book a celebrity performer or DJ, too.

Helpful lead times: Popular acts can book up 9–18 months ahead. If your date is soon, don’t worry, we can often secure excellent celebrity entertainment at the last minute.

Budget guidance: Fees vary by artist profile, performance length, travel, crew, and production. We will always be up front with you about fees and other associated costs (for example if an artist will require expenses for a hotel room). Alternatively, tell us your target budget and we’ll present smart, great-value choices that are hand-picked for your specific tastes.

Technical Guidance: If you’re looking to book a performer or DJ - try to think about where and when they will perform. Our artists do not provide their own sound systems or DJ equipment. We often find your existing team will be able to accommodate these requests but please do keep this in mind. We will be up front about what will be required e.g. wireless microphones so everything can be sorted in advance.
